Baby Shower FuN!!!

I helped give a friend of my daughters a baby shower today. We played "MY WATER BROKE!" and "CATCH THE PAPPY/PASSIE". FUN!!!
My Water Broke- I froze tiny blue pacifier's in ice trays. Each guest had one in a clear cup. They couldn't "help" it along. This was to be a natural not induced baby! HAHA! The first person to see their passie floating out of it's ice in the cup had to scream MY WATER BROKE!
The other game "Catch The Passie"- Each guest was given a ring pop (NO germs). When it was their turn we blindfolded them and they had to catch the "passie" in their mouth as it swung from a fishing line. This was hilarious to watch!
Lots of laughs and fun. What a GREAT Sunday spent with family and friends.

  1. I haven't been to a baby shower in a while...sounds like they have become a lot more fun! (-: Love the petit fours.

  2. I have never played either of those games at a baby shower. I will certainly keep them in mind. Especially "Catch the Passie"~

  3. It really was fun! The other game we did at my daughters shower for the twins was everyone pick a partner and you put a cloth diaper with pins on a doll...using only one hand each. The best and fastest team wins. You can really make it fun by using blindfolds and winter gloves on!

  4. Hi Lynn! Thanks for your compliment on my Halloween wreath! I saw that you had a question about how to make it puffy and how to tie it down. I just used tulle to tie mine down, but you could use ribbon or wire - whatever you have on hand. To make it "puffy" I would just take a section after I tied it down, and sort of scrunch it up a little bit, then tie the next section down - does that make sense? It's very easy to deal with the mesh as it sort of forms itself. Please email me if you have any other questions!
